One of my favorite things to do is photograph artists, especially artists I admire and it's even cooler to me if they live in Alaska. Amy Meissner is a wonderful artist in Alaska. I regularly photography Amy's art work, but we have only had one portrait session. The photo above was taken while I was leaving Amy's home after photographing some of her new work. While I was packing up my bags, I saw the window light coming through her beautiful, big living room windows and I had to ask her for a quick portrait.
