In the spring, I worked on a story with Maxim, about serial killer Israel Keyes and the disappearance and murder of Samantha Koenig. Emotionally and as a portrait photographer, it was one of the hardest assignments I have ever been asked to do. Everyone in Alaska followed the news closely hoping and praying they would find her. As a father I couldn't image what James Koenig went through. My heart goes out to him and all parents that have lost a child.
I am currently in Fairbanks, Alaska making my way to Anaktuvuk Pass and while at the local Barnes & Nobles, I picked up a couple copies of the October issue of Maxim, featuring four of my photos from the story. Go check it out and then hold your babes tight.
