My dearest friend Michael Franklin came back into town this month from Cape Cod. She was working for Zeiss optics over the summer for her college credit at RIT. Since she is here for such a short time we are trying to fit in all the fun Alaska road trips we can. The photo of Michael above was taken at Hatchers Pass last weekend and during the week we went to Denali for three days. It has been an amazing time and a much needed holiday for me. So, thanks Mike for making me stop and see Alaska.
