On First Friday visiting artist Zoe Strauss from Philadelphia was at the International Gallery of Contemporary Art taking portraits of the first 200 people to come through the gallery. Leah and I had our awesome portrait taken and then on Sunday Leah surprised me with this beautifully value villaged framed photo. Thanks Leah. Really I love it!
Also I would like to say thanks to Zoe Strauss for spending some time here in AK. Her Wednesday lecture and photos of her book "America" were wonderful. I look forward to keeping an eye out for her work.
